Choose the closest job shape first. The calculator then keeps the inputs, waste allowance, bag counts, and supplier note aligned with how the pour will actually be ordered.

How it works

Use finished dimensions, then check the assumptions

Each calculator takes finished pour dimensions and converts them into the quantities you need at the supplier: cubic yards for ready-mix orders, or 40, 60, and 80 lb bag counts for smaller pours. Most calculators include a safety margin recommendation so the order covers spillage, uneven subgrade, and small measurement errors.

For most flatwork, a 4 inch slab is standard, with 5 to 6 inches used for driveways or heavier loads. For structural work, footings, frost-depth requirements, and load capacity should always be checked against local code before pouring.
